DIN5903 Fish Bolts | Oval Neck Railway Fishplate Track Bolts
Fish bolts, also widely named fishtail bolts or fishplate bolts, are indispensable high-tensile railway fasteners designed to join two rail ends together by clamping the fishplate (rail joint bar). Our fish bolts are manufactured strictly in compliance with DIN 5903 standard, adopting classic mushroom round head and oval anti-rotation neck design. This special oval neck structure locks the bolt firmly inside the fishplate hole and prevents spinning during tightening, greatly improving installation efficiency and long-term joint stability under dynamic train impact and vibration.
We produce fish bolts from premium carbon steel, with strength grades covering 4.8, 8.8 and 10.9 to satisfy different line load requirements:
